Has the breeder of Dash we are so proud and we would like to congratulat Pat for her great job of traning Dash and to have him shine for this is someting hi love to do.

In 2013 I heard about the new exciting dog activity Sporting Detection Dogs.  The dogs are trained much the same  way as drug or bomb dogs but with the legal and safe substances essential oils of Wintergreen, Pine and Thyme.  A drop of the substance is hidden  (unknown to the dog and handler) and they do the search together.  It is definitely team work as one has to read the dogs body language.   Dogs are than trialed and tested.  May 31st 2014 Dash and I attended our first trial in Ottawa  Ontario sponsored by Best Friends Dog Training School.  To achieve a Starters title dog and handler must do a container search, interior room search as well as an exterior area and pass all three to get their title.  Under Judge Teresa Lewin Dash passed all three components earning the title  SD-S sp.  SD-s indicates he has his Starters title and the sp is added when the team successfully completes all three searches in one trial.  Dash achieved a score of 95 out of a 100, Top Amateur started Team as well as the Best Friends award.   I am so proud of my boy and wish to thank Kim Cooper for her excellent instruction.

Year 2013

July /  August 2013

Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Dog Ass. District Kennel Club.

Dash and Pat had great two weekends showing in obediance.

Dash became an OTCH in 5 trials then ended up passing 9 out of 12 trails placing first each time. What Pat loved best was his happy attitude, indicating that both were having fun. More than once he proved he was a thinking dog, not scared to make a mistake. I love my best friend. So blessed to have this dog in my life.
